We’ve just wrapped up the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine (VIFM) Capital Works Upgrade – a complex, multi-stage program delivered in one of Victoria’s most sensitive environments.
he upgrade gave VIFM a much-needed refresh, with modernised facilities, new plant and systems, and a building extension. We tackled everything from internal refurbishments to structural fixes and major infrastructure upgrades, all while keeping operations running 24/7.
Key achievements:
- Mortuary, CAE, and substation upgrades delivered with zero disruption
- Improved family experience through purpose-built temporary facilities
- Maintained integrity of forensic evidence and sensitive laboratory processes
