Awarded Work Package 2 (Western Terminal) at Auckland Airport

Built Environs is delighted to announce that we have been awarded Work Package 2 of the Terminal Integration project at Auckland International Airport.

AIAL (Auckland International Airport Limited) approached Built Environs to work collaboratively on an open book basis to compile a fixed price lump sum contract.

The scope of the project includes extensive civil enabling works, demolition of existing structures and diversion of services. Built Environs will also be responsible for constructing the new western truck dock, the western side of the JBA Hall, level 1 screening area and the fit-out of the ground floor mezzanine. The project is forecast to be completed in mid 2025.

This contract is part of the Airport’s infrastructure investment plan to construct a new Domestic terminal adjacent to the International terminal providing seamless Domestic Jet to International travel and provide for a future shift to mass rapid transit.
