Built Environs awarded school development in Beaumaris

Built Environs is excited to share news about our first project in Victoria, Beaumaris Secondary College Stage 2, for the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA).

To celebrate the commencement of work, Tim Richardson, Parliamentary Secretary for Schools and the local member for Mordialloc attended the site for a sod ceremony in May. They were joined by students of the school to officially break ground.

Built Environs Managing Director, Michael Clemenger, said he was proud Built Environs will be able to contribute to infrastructure that will benefit the local community and our younger generations.

“Enhancing the way people live, work and play is the core of the Built Environs business, we’re thrilled to be part of this development at Beaumaris Secondary College,” Mr Clemenger said.

The scope includes the design & construction of a three-storey extension of the Learning Hub to provide additional art, design and technology facilities, as well as senior learning and collaborative spaces.

Built Environs State Manager, Victoria, Goce Causevski is excited to be working with the VSBA on this development.

“Working with the VSBA allows us to draw on the teams experience to provide value innovation in both design and delivery within an accelerated timeframe with works being completed in a live environment.”

Built Environs will ensure minimal disruption to the live College environment and will complete, commission and handover the new facilities to Beaumaris Secondary College ready for Term 1 of the 2022 school year.
