Built Environs has secured a major project on Wellington’s South Coast!
We are involved in constructing the main process facility of the complex sludge minimisation facility at Moa Point. This innovative facility will slash the volume of sludge created by a staggering 80% annually while reducing carbon emissions by a remarkable 60%.
Being entrusted with this project underscores our commitment to sustainability and aligns perfectly with the wider waste minimisation strategy of Wellington City Council. It’s a critical step towards the Council’s goal of becoming a net-zero carbon capital by 2050.
We’re looking forward to working together with the McConnell Dowell/HEB JV on this journey towards a greener, more sustainable future for Wellington.
Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting endeavour!
