The Manukau Health Park redevelopment is expanding access to elective and outpatient healthcare for South Auckland’s growing community.

More capacity for specialist care

Across three new buildings, the redevelopment will expand radiology, renal care, women’s health and ophthalmology services.

New facilities include four operating theatres, 20 recovery beds, more than 40 outpatient spaces and a new radiology hub providing CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and radiography. Expanded renal dialysis facilities will also increase access to treatment closer to home.

Building for future demand

Major upgrades to plant, substations, medical gases, IT infrastructure and parking will support the expanded facilities and the precinct’s future healthcare needs.

Built Environs is delivering MESH remediation under a Design & Construct contract as part of the wider redevelopment.

Once operational, the new facilities are expected to support around 150,000 additional appointments and 3,600 surgeries each year.
