Transforming Mile End into South Australia’s Premier Multi-Sport Precinct
The Mile End Sports Complex Project is set to transform the existing Netball SA Stadium into a modern, multi-sport precinct, enhancing both outdoor and indoor facilities to better serve the community, state-level competition, and national sporting events.
As the contractor delivering this landmark project, we are working in partnership with the South Australian Government, and Netball SA, and Volleyball SA to create a facility that supports participation at every level – from grassroots through to elite.
Stage 1 will see the redevelopment of 26 outdoor community courts, including new surfaces, shelters, seating, LED lighting, drainage and amenities.
Stage 2 will deliver a world-class six-court indoor stadium, featuring a 3,000-seat main court, high-performance training and recovery facilities, and shared offices for Netball SA and Volleyball SA. The upgraded venue will not only provide a better game-day and training experience for more than 35,000 South Australians who play netball, but also strengthen South Australia’s ability to host major national events.
The works will be carefully staged to maintain continuity for competitions. Outdoor courts will be completed for the 2026 AMND season, with the new indoor complex scheduled to reopen in early 2028 following a temporary relocation of competitions.
