Built Environs is delivering the transformation of the existing Netball SA Stadium into a major multi-sport precinct supporting community participation, high-performance sport and national competition.
Stage 1 includes the redevelopment of 26 outdoor community courts, with new playing surfaces, shelters, seating, LED lighting, drainage and amenities.
Stage 2 will deliver a new six-court indoor stadium, including a 3,000-seat main court, high-performance training and recovery facilities, and shared offices for Netball SA and Volleyball SA.
The completed precinct will provide improved facilities for more than 35,000 South Australians who play netball, while creating new opportunities for major sporting events.
Keeping competitions moving
Working with the South Australian Government, Netball SA and Volleyball SA, we carefully staged construction around existing competitions.
The outdoor courts were delivered in time for the 2026 Adelaide Metropolitan Netball Division season, with competitions temporarily relocated during construction of the indoor stadium before the complex reopens in early 2028.
