Delivering improved public transport connectivity on Auckland’s Northern Busway
The Rosedale Busway Station project will deliver a new station on Auckland’s Northern Busway between Albany and Constellation stations, improving access to public transport across the city’s growing northern corridor.
Designed to support surrounding residential, commercial and education precincts, the new station will provide better connectivity for the people living, working, studying and travelling through the area every day.
Originally developed as part of the NZ Transport Agency’s Northern Corridor Improvements (NCI) project, the Rosedale Busway Station component transitioned to a standalone Auckland Transport (AT) project in 2023.
As part of that transition, the project inherited developed design documentation and partially completed construction works from the NCI Alliance. Construction activities are now continuing with updated design solutions to support current project requirements and future network demand.
The scope of works includes construction of the new bus station building and associated services, retaining walls, pavements, footpaths, cycleways, lighting and key utilities infrastructure including stormwater, water, wastewater and power services.
Once complete, the project will strengthen Auckland’s Northern Busway network and improve transport connections for the surrounding community.
Key features:

- Improved access for surrounding residential, employment, and education areas
