Delivering a connected future for Northwest Auckland

The Westgate Bus Station is a major new public transport hub supporting the future of travel in Auckland’s northwest.

Forming a key part of NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi’s Te Ara Hauāuru – Northwest Busway project, the station has been designed to keep pace with significant population growth across the area. Once complete, it will improve passenger connectivity by providing seamless transfers between local bus services and express routes into the city.

Our scope includes the construction of modern interchange buildings and associated civil works. These facilities will enhance safety, security and shelter for passengers, creating a more comfortable and reliable public transport experience.

Delivering works in a busy and rapidly developing precinct requires careful planning and collaboration. Our approach prioritises safety, clear communication, and minimising disruption to local residents and businesses while maintaining efficient delivery.

The Westgate Bus Station is expected to be operational in mid-2026.
