Project Branding

It’s imperative that on-site branding on all our projects is prominent and correct.

There are 3 types of projects that require different forms of branding:

Built Environs Project Branding

Projects where Built Environs is the sole constructor.

This type of project should ONLY feature the Built Environs logo and, unless specificed by the customer, the project should adhere to the standard Built Environs branding guidelines.

No other company logos, project logos or supplementary graphics should be on display.

Joint Venture (JV) Branding

A Joint Venture (or JV) is a project where Built Environs works alongside another constructor 50/50 to deliver a project.

JV branding should be ‘locked-up’ with the logos alongside each other. The JV logos should allow appropriate free space and be of the same visual scale in height / width dimensions. Place a keyline between the two logos to separate them. See examples below.

Use only these logo lockups to identify and brand a JV project.

DO NOT create a separate JV logo UNLESS specific requirements by the customer demand it.

Note; if Built Environs is the majority contractor, then the need for a JV brand should be questioned.

Alliance Branding

An Alliance is a project or series of projects where multiple companies are working together to form an Alliance.

Alliances have their own branding and identity. They are the least desirable option from a brand point of view but are usually enforced by the client/customer and are the only option available.

With an Alliance, an entire new identity is created and only minimal Built Environs branding is retained through MMS documents etc.

Example of Alliance branding

Projects must adhere to these guidelines.

If a project deliberately or accidently deviates from these guidelines they will be forced to rebrand the project at their own expense.

If you are involved with setting up a new project and are unsure of the branding to use please email Group Marketing & Comms.
