Manukau Health Park

The Manukau Health Park redevelopment for Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau, located in South Auckland, is a major investment in the region’s growing healthcare needs and will significantly improve access to high-quality elective and outpatient services for the community.

The facility will expand regional healthcare across radiology, renal care, women’s health and ophthalmology. Delivered across three new buildings, the project includes four operating theatres, 20 recovery beds, 40+ outpatient spaces, a CSSD, and staff amenities.

A new radiology hub will provide CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and radiography, alongside integrated breast screening, while an expanded renal dialysis service will increase treatment capacity closer to home.

The redevelopment also includes major enabling upgrades to plant, substations, medical gases, IT systems and parking, supporting a future-ready and resilient health precinct.

Built Environs is delivering MESH remediation under a Design & Construct contract as part of the wider redevelopment. Once operational, the facilities are expected to support ~150,000 additional appointments and 3,600 surgeries per year, and enable up to 450 full-time roles.
