Building Australia’s next generation of mRNA manufacturing capability
Built Environs is delivering a new state-of-the-art facility for the development and clinical-scale manufacturing of mRNA-based medicines.
The purpose-built facility brings together research, production and logistics functions across three key zones:
- Office and Laboratory Building (North): Providing workplace accommodation, specialist QC and R&D laboratories, and associated plant
- Production Hall (East): Cleanrooms for manufacturing including drug substance, formulation and aseptic filling.
- Warehouse (West): Supporting logistics and auxiliary operations.
External works include new site infrastructure, carparking, landscaped areas, and dedicated loading and unloading zones.
Construction commenced in late 2024, with construction scheduled to complete in late 2026.
