Building a vibrant educational hub in Melbourne’s west
The Point Cook South Schools Bundle is a major new education precinct supporting Melbourne’s rapidly growing western suburbs. Designed to meet rising enrolment demand, the project will deliver two new primary schools, including one supported inclusion school for students with disabilities, as well as a kindergarten.
These schools and the kindergarten will be co-located on an ~11ha greenfield site, providing a vibrant heart for this expanding community. Facilities on this substantial site will include:
- administration and library building
- modern learning neighbourhoods
- community hubs for visual arts, technology, science, and sports facilities
- outdoor hard courts, sports fields, and landscaping
The specialist school and kindergarten are scheduled to open for the start of the 2026 school year. Built Environs has teamed up with PreBuilt to use modular construction, allowing offsite construction to progress prior to site access.
The P-9 school works will follow during 2026, ready for the start of the 2027 school year.
