Built Environs delivered a staged programme of infrastructure upgrades at RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, Western Australia, for the Department of Defence.
Upgrading essential infrastructure
Delivered across three stages, the works included a new single-storey facility, demolition of 11 redundant buildings and upgrades to 12 kilometres of perimeter fencing.
The project also included a new grey water treatment plant, allowing treated water to be reused for landscape irrigation across the base.
Working within an operational RAAF base
Strict security and airside access requirements added complexity to every stage of delivery.
Our team worked closely with base users and stakeholders to carefully plan access and construction activities around ongoing operations, allowing the base to remain fully operational throughout the works.
