Transforming spaces for learning and research across three live campuses.

Built Environs delivered the University of Adelaide’s Capital Management Plan Building Works, a four-year programme spanning 74 projects across three operational campuses.

74 projects, one coordinated programme

The programme included new and upgraded teaching spaces, computer suites, laboratories, research facilities and office environments.

At times, our team managed up to 20 projects concurrently, coordinating works around more than 25,000 students and 3,000 staff while maintaining safe access and day-to-day university operations.

Working around the academic calendar

Careful staging and programming were critical, with works planned around teaching activities and strict semester start dates.

Close communication with university stakeholders helped us manage competing priorities and keep projects moving across multiple campuses and work fronts.

All 74 projects were completed on time and within budget, delivering new and upgraded environments for learning, research and collaboration.
