A 28-storey unique mixed-use tower in the vibrant Weymouth Street precinct
Built Environs successfully designed and constructed this 25-storey mixed-use development located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.
Comprising one cold shell restaurant and one retail tenancy, as well as residential areas, the innovative, adaptable internal layouts provide a range of accommodation types, with residential apartments situated above the carparks.
Positioned on a tight inner-city site, the project team employed live data systems to monitor crane movements and deliveries, whilst also providing value engineering, buildability and constructability advice during the tender and post tender periods.
The carparking is screened with a sculptural façade that acts as a backdrop to the adjacent the heritage theatre building.

Built Environs implemented a range of innovative measures to improve access, cashflow, crane movements, and safety. This included using the stairwell for wraparound access, relocating the concrete boom line pump and air compressor, installing slab edge crane ties, a scaffold bridge, a double-height stair access, additional crane shifts, and a nurse call station.We also employed a real-time data system was employed to manage deliveries.
These measures had several positive outcomes, such as reduced programme constraints, improved cashflow, decreased strain on labour, and an immediate emergency response.
