Built Environs successfully delivered the 10,000 m2 entertainment and events pavilion at the Adelaide Showground, which included 20,000 m2 of civil works and supporting infrastructure. The project also included the creation of hospitality, retail and plaza areas.
Additionally, it was a landmark in environmental design, featuring two 3.5 million litre underground stormwater storage tanks fed from the Goyder Pavilion’s roof, as well as Australia’s largest rooftop solar panel system, installed by Solar Shop Australia, across Goyder Pavilion and five other buildings at the Showground.
With more than 40 major events held at the showground during the project's duration, the team had to carefully plan and coordinate with the customer and event organisers to allow for safe loading-in and loading-out.
